Artist Statement:

I think my latest works reside somewhere between baroque and punk. Some of the pieces are frozen in a collision between different time periods. I like the contrast between controlled forms and chaotic gestures and want to combine the qualities of trash and treasure in the same object. I hope they can tell strange stories.

Artist Bio:

I was born and raised in Lviv, Ukraine, and took drawing and painting classes as a teenager. In 1994 I moved to NYC, where I graduated from Parsons School of Design and worked as a graphic designer. In 2021 my family moved to Stamford, and I became an associate artist at the Clay Art Center.
