Artist Statement:

One candle stick seems lonely but two seem happy! Coming together on a table, connecting people. These pieces are meant to instill warmth and festivity!

Artist Bio:

My love of clay started as a teenager. Many years later, I found the Clay Art Center, where I took classes and workshops. When time allowed and I was able to fully immerse myself in clay, I eventually became a Ceramic Artist member at the Clay Art Center participating in various juried and invitational shows. When working on the wheel or hand building, I am most interested in the form of a piece, it’s function and how or where it will be used. I use Porcelain clay in my work, fired in an electric kiln to Cone 6.
