Artist Statement:

The challenge of turning a lump of clay into a pleasing useful object, like a cup, a bowl or a vase, is what inspires me to keep trying daily.

Artist Bio:

The bulk of my work is wheel-thrown and functional, using stoneware and porcelain, fired in reduction atmosphere to high temperatures. My emphasis is on simple forms, using traditional glazes with minimal decoration.
