Cancer Support Community Greater NY & CT at Gilda's Club
Clay Art Center is proud to partner with Cancer Support Community Greater NY & CT at Gilda's Club to bring clay programming to those in our communities impacted by cancer. Our last session ended in winter, with a new session beginning this week. Above, students shared fun works from an end-of-session project.
Instructor Denis Licul said, "We had such fun with our last project. We had an hour and a half after glazing all the work, so we made merry-go-round portraits. Each person starts working on his/her portrait with a name on the board and passes the board to the next person after 10 min. We finished when our faces came back to us, after making a full circle, and each person had worked on it." We think you'll agree this was a great way to end a class session!
Clay Art Center at First Bank of Greenwich Event
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth last night at the First Bank of Greenwich event! It was great to meet so many new people and help them discover a passion for pottery.
Seen here is our Executive Director Emily Peck with our Development Director Wendy Weinstein. Thank you to First Bank of Greenwich for promoting the arts and for your support of programming at Clay Art Center.
