Artist Statement

“I am a vessel maker and work primarily in porcelain.” Jeff formerly served as an Associate Professor of Art and Art Department Coordinator for Fairmont State University’s Department of Architecture, Art and Design. From 1984-2008 he served as the Head of the Ceramics Department and Faculty at the Chautauqua School of Art, Chautauqua NY, and as Vice-President of the Visual Arts Advisory Board for the Chautauqua Institution. In 2017 Greenham was named as one of the top five Master Artists in WV by the Tamarack Foundation. He received his MFA degree from West Virginia University; BFA and AAS degrees from the School for American Crafts at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Greenham has also served as Director of Operations for a number of ceramic businesses including: Bill Campbell Studios, PA; Goebel Porzcelain Fabrik GMBH of NA, NJ & Waccamaw Clay Products, SC. He is a regular Organizational, Technical and Financial Consultant for a number of Universities, Public Schools, small businesses, arts organizations and independent artists. His works are a part of numerous private and corporate collections and have been exhibited widely
