Georgia Tenore
Georgia Tenore taught for over 45 years, and had been at CAC for 20. She studied at several places including Haystack and Brookfield, and apprenticed and worked at Scargo Pottery, Dennis, MA, with her mentor, Harry Holl. She was also a porcelain consultant for Dansk. Georgia’s work has been shown in the Hudson River Museum and galleries in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Virginia. Georgia strongly believed in creating a supportive and collaborative atmosphere in the classroom, and her classes were lively and full of exploration. She had full knowledge of technique and had a keen eye for bringing together form and decoration.
