Onsite Clay Party for Adults

$72 per person (Ages 17+)
*6 student minimum
Option 1: Pottery Wheel Party - learn to use the pottery wheel
Option 2: Handbuilding Party - build something sculptural or functional from the table
Join us for some clay fun in this one-time class for family, friends, or coworkers interested in learning to use the potter’s wheel or build with clay. Have fun while receiving a lesson from experienced and dedicated ceramic artists. Beginners are welcome and no previous experience is necessary!
Pottery pieces will be available for pick up approximately 3-4 weeks after class.
All materials and firing included.
Pre-registration is required.
We need final numbers and full payment 48 hours prior to the event.
One registration per student.
Food is allowed inside for an additional half hour before or after the party for a fee of $60. Email to confirm timing.
NOTE: While we make every effort to handle student work with the utmost care, we cannot guarantee perfect results because of the fragile and unpredictable nature of clay and the firing process. Works might crack or break during the firing or glazing process, and glazes can have unpredictable results. Our classes are geared towards a creative “making” experience rather than an end product.
Tuition is due in full at time of registration.
Party confirmations are sent by email no later then 3 days prior to the party date.
If you cancel 72 hours before the party, we will charge a $50 cancellation fee. Party dues are not refundable within 72 hours of the party.
In the event of an emergency closing, you will be emailed and your party will be rescheduled. The website home page will indicate whether classes and/or open studios are cancelled and if the offices are closed.
During checkout, you will be asked to confirm you have read and agreed upon the conditions of our Student Class Policies. Agreement is required to attend any program at CAC.
