Letter to our Community: Welcome back!
August 29, 2020
This summer was one of the harder ones that the Clay Art Center community has had to face. Our regular camps and classes could not be held and our programs and classes were limited to computer screens. As we head into an uncertain back to school season, we are looking forward to holding classes and welcoming back our community. Although things at Clay Art Center will be different than we have experienced in the past and we will be faced with more plexiglass and face masks then we ever would have expected, we are excited for the sense of normalcy that will come from seeing the wheels start spinning again. We look forward to welcoming your (masked) faces back into our community and are eager to see all the art that will be created. We have also planned a slate of virtual artist talks and virtual classes that will continue to connect us with our friends locally and around the world for learning and inspiration. This may not be the back to school season that any of us expected, but we hope to be a positive and creative part of your lives as we head into this new season.
See you in the Studio and on Zoom!
