Working under Keiko’s guidance, you will pursue new techniques and ideas through a Japanese approach. Taught in Japanese and English.

Topics include:

Throwing techniques in the Japanese style and aesthetic
Layering surfaces using glazes
Using handbuilt and wheel thrown parts to make new forms

Skill: Advanced
Prerequisite: A few intermediate courses or equivalent ceramic skills
