CLAY TABLE (ONE-TIME EVENT)
Clay table: Experience the joy of working with clay and get your hands dirty at your community event! We bring the clay and tools, you bring the creativity. Our clay table is a great way for everyone at your event to test their hand at building and sculpting with clay. Pieces that are made at clay tables will not be fired.
ONSITE & OFFSITE PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOLS & ORGANIZATIONS
Programs may be held onsite at Clay Art Center, or offsite at your location
Clay Class: This engaging and hands-on program introduces students to the exciting world of ceramics, where they will learn the fundamental skills needed to create their own clay masterpieces. Our supportive and encouraging environment fosters not only artistic growth but also a deeper appreciation for the art of ceramics. Students will gain a solid foundation in ceramics, learning the materials, techniques, and vocabulary needed to continue their artistic journey.
One-time class/multi-day workshop: If you're not ready to commit to a full clay class for your organization but still want to experience the transformative power of clay, a one-time class or multi-day workshop might be best for you. We'll bring the clay to your program site where our instructors work with students to build and glaze a project. Then, we'll bring them back to our studio for firing before arranging the delivery/pickup of your pieces.
PUBLIC ART PROJECT
Mosaics: Create a mosaic for your school or community based organization! Beautify your community with a ceramic mosaic that will help foster collaboration and stand the test of time. Mosaic projects require lots of planning beforehand as well as time to make the pieces and install them. Projects can take anywhere from a few months to a few years to complete.
