UPDATE (April 22, 2024): Thank you to everyone who came to our Empty Bowls Fundraiser at Rye Presbyterian Church on Sunday. Thanks to your support, we were able to raise much needed funds for the Don Bosco Community Center in Port Chester who help families facing food insecurity and hunger. If you were not able to make it to the event, you can still purchase bowls to support these local charities in either the classroom at Clay Art Center or at Rye Presbyterian Church through May 13, 2024.

Feed the hungry by purchasing unique handmade ceramic bowls made by over 50 Clay Art Center artists and students. This year, all proceeds will bedonated to the Don Bosco Community Center.
Clay Art Center is helping raise awareness about food insecurity and hunger in Westchester during our biennial Empty Bowls fundraiser. For more than 20 years Clay Art Center has mobilized hundreds of community members and artists to create thousands of handmade ceramic bowls in partnership with the Rye Presbyterian Church. Join us at the Empty Bowls fundraiser held at Rye Presbyterian Church on April 21, at 11am to purchase these beautifully crafted bowls made by more than 50 Clay Art Center artists and students. Take home a unique bowl and enjoy warm, comforting soup provided by the Sabin Meyer Corporation, free with your purchase of a bowl. Together, with Rye Presbyterian Church and a host of volunteers, we have raised over $75,000 in the fight to end hunger in Westchester County.
Clay Art Center Executive Director, Emily Peck shares, “We are proud to participate in Empty Bowls as our way of giving back to the Port Chester community by raising money to support food organizations. Please join us by purchasing a handcrafted bowl and help families in need in Port Chester.”
As part of Clay Art Center’s partnership with Rye Presbyterian Church for this community service, Clay Art Center provides the church’s youth group with a free workshop, where the children have the opportunity to make bowls that will be offered up for sale at the fundraiser. You can find these alongside the handmade bowls by CAC's artists and students. The youth group also helps run the event by creating the signs, helping to set up, and collecting the money for the bowl sales.
