Clay Art Center welcomes John Britt for a weekend of exciting events designed to take your glazing to the next level! This special event comprises of a free public lecture on Friday, July 28, and a 2-Day Workshop on Saturday & Sunday, July 29 & 30.

You do not need to be registered for the 2-Day Workshop to attend the lecture on Friday night.

Join John Britt for a special lecture and / or 2-Day Workshop, where he will discuss all things glazes, including a general overview of ceramic glazes, focusing on but not limited to cone 6 glazes.

John Britt is a studio potter in Bakersville, North Carolina who has been a potter and teacher for over 38 years. He lives in mountains of Western North Carolina, although he grew up in Dayton, Ohio. John travels all over the world teaching this workshop and many others. He is both nationally and internationally recognized as one of the ceramic world’s greatest glaze experts. He is the author of multiple best selling glaze books.
