Clay Art Center hosts Hand-in-Hand Annual Benefit & Auction

Celebrating the Clay Art Center Community

Saturday, October 15th, 4 – 6pm

Please join us at our annual Hand in Hand benefit and auction this October. The two-hour tented fundraiser will be held outdoors in front of Clay Art Center. Tickets go on sale August 22.

Guests will enjoy a chance to mingle, enjoy good food and good company and celebrate Clay Art Center’s creativity, success and impact during 2021 -22 and our excitement about the coming year. This celebration will shine a spotlight on all the elements which make Clay Art Center an asset in the Hudson Valley, to the community and to the world of ceramics.

Our virtual auction will include ceramic items donated by CAC artists, current and former residents, and nationally recognized artists from around the country. Preview of the full auction begins online in October (date to be announced). The auction items will be on view at Clay Art Center prior to the auction.

Proceeds from the auction and benefit support vital operations, as well as programs including year-round scholarships, residencies for emerging artists, and Clay as Therapy programs which allow Clay Art Center to promote the practice and appreciation for ceramic arts in our community.

Join in the festivities and celebrate Clay Art Center and our mission to provide access to all, independent of their skill, interest or ability to pay allowing budding artists to express themselves through meaningful art making and appreciation.
