ARTIST STATEMENT

As a life-long animal lover and advocate, my activism for all the species on the planet continues to inform my art. My creative expression articulates the care and compassion I have for the animals of the world through the universal language of the arts. I employ the ancient technique of wood firing to further incorporate the natural elements that occur in the process, allowing for an organic aesthetic in harmony with the form.
