DECORATION NATION | Don Reynolds
This demonstration will focus on the techniques of layering colors of underglaze and wax to create crisp, colorful patterns on ceramic objects. Don will share the tools, and processes he uses to decorate bone dry greenware with commercial underglazes. He will have pieces in various stages of the process (like a cooking show!) so he can demonstrate all of the steps to the participants.

ARTIST DEMO: HANDBUILT TEAPOT | Hayne Bayless
This Virtual Demo covers extrusions and slab decoration for the hand-built teapot. Unconventional forming methods and unusual approaches to surface decoration will also form a key component of the demo. Additional topics will include: the clay hinge for teapot lids, cutting stencils from Tyvek, and colored slip inlay and stretched slabs. This workshop will also interest throwers looking to expand their horizons beyond the wheel.
