ARTIST STATEMENT

I’m an artist who works primarily in ceramics because of clay’s history of function and connection to home. When I’m working on the wheel my favorite form to throw is the gourd! Otherwise, you can find me relieving my climate anxiety by building large temporary sculptures that break down over time.
